The Data Lineage feature visually maps the flow of sensitive or important data across various departments, systems, and stakeholders within the organization. The diagram displayed shows:

  • Source: The origin of the data (e.g., personal information like name, email, address).

  • Path: The movement of this data through departments (e.g., Sourcing, Marketing, Vendors) and external systems.

  • Destination: Where the data is ultimately stored or used (e.g., a project tracker or shared file).

This information is shared via Connectors (data sources integrated into the system) and highlights the lifecycle of data within the organization.
