The DSPM Policy section of HawkShield maintains a comprehensive policy database. Admins can use this section to view, manage, and enforce policies across SaaS and DBaaS connectors to ensure the secure sharing of sensitive information. In this dashboard, you can create, edit, toggle, and delete policies effortlessly.

  1. To access the Policy section, log in to HawkShield, go to Discovery from the main dashboard, and click Policy in the left sidebar menu.

  2. Once opened, you will see the total number of policies displayed on a black bar, along with severity levels differentiated as Critical, High, Medium, and Low, visible on the top right.

  3. To create a new policy, click the Add New Policy button and follow the prompts to configure the policy.

  4. A policy entry row displays details such as Policy Name, Severity, a toggleable Status Bar (On/Off), Creation Date, Last Update, and Action Buttons (Edit and Delete) for managing the policy.

Note: Clicking on an existing policy will open all its detailed configurations for review.
