Managing Connector
Efficiently managing connectors is essential for maintaining optimal functionality within HawkShield DSPM. The Connected Dashboard offers a user-friendly interface to monitor, configure, and control connectors seamlessly.
Managing Connector from Connected Dashboard
Navigate to the Connectors section and click on the Connected Connectors tab.
A dashboard with a list of connected connectors will appear, displaying rows of connector names, entity types, scan history, connection statuses, auto-scan toggles, and action buttons.
Connector Auto Scan Setting
To turn auto-scan on or off, locate the Auto Scan column and toggle the switch for the desired connector.
Configuring Connectors
To configure a connector, navigate to the desired connector in the list, go to the Action column, and click the Edit button.
A configuration box will pop up, allowing you to edit details such as connector name, country, and tags.
Scanning options (automatic, real-time, or paused) can be adjusted using their respective toggles.
After making the necessary edits (such as custom scan data period, max size data to scan, type of data extension to skip from the scan), click Next to save your configuration and return to the Connected Dashboard.
Pause/Resume Auto Scan
In the Action column, click the Auto Scan button to pause or resume the background auto-scan for a connector.
A confirmation box will pop up. Select OK to execute the chosen command.
Delete Button
Clicking the Delete button in the Action column will remove the connector from HawkShield DSPM permanently.
