The Entities in HawkShield serves as a critical component for securing sensitive information. It allows the admin team to monitor, manage, and create entity definitions that act as an additional layer of security.

  1. The Entities enables admins to view and manage the list of created entities. To access it, navigate to the "Discovery" and click the "Entities" in the left sidebar menu.

  2. At the top of the Entities page, a black banner displays the total number of entities along with total categories. Additionally, admins can view the division of entities into severity levels (Critical, High, Medium, Low) on the top-right, below the account button.

  3. Clicking on "Add New Entity" opens the entity creation box, where new entity definitions can be configured.

  4. Each entity is displayed in an information row showing its name, ID, regex type, keywords, associated compliances, severity levels, a toggle to enable or disable it, and an action button to edit the entity if required.
